A scene exercise about private resolve inside a shared public moment.
Write a scene in which your character sits in a familiar public place and notices small signals that the world around them is moving faster than they are willing to move. Let the pressure emerge through observed details, interrupted routines, and fragments of overheard language. End with one ordinary action that quietly commits the character to a direction.
