Flood Warning Forces Shelter Choice

You must decide where to take shelter before floodwaters rise suddenly.

You watch dark skies gathering as the flash flood warning sounds through the town. Your phone buzzes with an urgent alert just as water begins seeping into the basement. With minutes to react, you gather what matters most and move toward a neighbor’s house across the street. Write the first sentence of what you say when you knock on their door.

Start here: Write the exact words you speak at the neighbor’s door.
